These Responsible Gambling Terms explain the principles, tools and restrictions that apply to the use of Spacejeux lottery services in Québec.

These may include spending limits, Reality check / time reminders, account activity information, temporary breaks and self-exclusion.

4. Spending limits

Players may use available account controls to establish limits on the amount they can spend on eligible Spacejeux services.

A spending limit should reflect the player's personal entertainment budget and should not interfere with essential financial obligations.

Where applicable, requests to increase a limit may be subject to a waiting period or other responsible-play safeguards.

5. Take a break

Players who want to temporarily stop participating may use the Take a Break feature.

During an active break, access to eligible gambling functionality may be restricted for the selected period.

Taking a break is intended to provide players with time away from gambling without requiring permanent account closure.

6. Self-exclusion

Players who recognize these signs are encouraged to stop playing, use the available responsible-play tools and seek confidential support.

9. Chasing losses

Lottery outcomes are based on chance. A previous loss does not increase the likelihood of winning a future game.

Players should not increase their spending or frequency of play in an attempt to recover money previously lost.

There is no strategy or pattern that can guarantee a winning lottery result.

10. Playing under the influence

Players should avoid making gambling decisions when their judgement may be impaired by alcohol, drugs, severe stress or other circumstances that could affect decision-making.

Responsible participation requires players to be able to understand their choices and make informed decisions about their spending.

11. Player protection

Spacejeux may use reasonable measures designed to support responsible gambling and protect players.

Seeking support does not require a person to have a gambling disorder. Players may contact the service whenever they feel that gambling is becoming difficult to control or is negatively affecting their life.

13. Protecting minors

Lottery participation is restricted to persons aged 18 and over.

Parents, guardians and other adults are encouraged not to leave lottery accounts, payment methods or authenticated devices accessible to minors.

Account credentials should not be shared with another person.

14. Your responsibility

Players are responsible for making informed decisions about whether and how they participate in lottery games.

Responsible play includes understanding the rules and odds of a game before participating, setting appropriate limits, monitoring spending and taking a break when gambling no longer feels recreational.
